Aboard the Capt. Ron
All types of
fishing are available, from inshore to offshore. Combination
striped bass and bottom fishing trips for sea bass and fluke are very
popular. A specialty is the summer time cod fishing at Coxes Ledge and
the offshore wrecks, honed from many years of experience. Shark
and tuna fishing round out the offshore picture. Combo cod and
shark/tuna trips are available. Extremely popular is the trophy night
bass trip. Special fly rod trips are also available. All tackle on
the Capt. Ron is tournament grade and supplied with the trip (except fly
rod trips.) When striped bass fishing, the preferred method for taking
these fine game fish is diamond jigging, bunker chunking, and live eel
fishing, with wire line being used as a last resort.
